Responsive themes!

Building a website can be easy but it can also be quite difficult and confusing, especially for beginners.  I started out back in 2010-11 with a blog site with WordPress, I had no idea what to do I simply signed up and checked out all the menu items to see what they were and started writing.

Posts – you write a post and publish, yes?  To a point, how do you add images what are you writing about who if anyone will see, read or even bother to comment?  Well, at the time I just thought I’d give it a go so I shared various things like book reviews and cards I made, I even shared some affiliate links. Then for a long time life got in the way, things changed and WordPress changed and when I tried to get back to my blog and write posts I couldn’t get the images where and how I wanted – I had always struggled with that anyway so that wasn’t new – but even the writing was different you could not write how you wanted, you had to write how the system lets you write.

Today, after having set up another website with WordPress I still have similar struggles with getting the images where and how I want but I have learnt a lot in a short space of time.

Pages – when I started I had no idea what the difference was between posts and pages do I know now I think so. Pages are for static pages about specific items such as the About me page, and affiliate disclosures.  I had none of those except that built into the site itself.

Then of course what about all that techno stuff like SEOs, and analytics and plugins for this, plugins for that and of course they all want to get paid.  So you have to work out which is the better one, which is compatible with WordPress, the list goes on.  Well, you might still need that plugin for that and the plugin for this but all you need for a responsive website is the right templates, but where to find them where else but at Responsive Free.  Yes.  Their templates are responsive to your needs, they come as ready-made websites so all you need do is import a demo template to WordPress, add your content, images, launch, and you are done.

I have written about Responsive Free previously and even shared samples of their templates but I think they are worth sharing again, so here are some more examples.

What is a ready site?  It is a professionally designed WordPress website template that is ready to use and customisable to achieve the look you want for your website.  However,  while you can get free templates and can achieve a very nice even elaborate website, you will get more benefits if you Go Pro.  For example, some Premium Sites are included in your Pro membership so you don’t have to pay extra for that ‘just right’ website template.

Responsive Free has over 100 Free and Premium Responsive WordPress starter templates.  Go see the range for yourself and if you can’t find what you are looking for all you need do is contact the team explaining your requirements and they will design it for you, just the way you want it.

All links in this post are affiliate links and should you purchase from them I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

That is all I have for you this time. Your comments and feedback would be appreciated.♣LR
